Practice Coaching Virtual Summit
Speaker Expression of Interest

2-4 December 2019

A collaborative of health industry experts are launching a Practice Coaching Virtual Summit

This Summit is primarily aimed at PHN staff, although future events will be targeted to Practice Managers, Nurses, GPs and other health professionals.

There is a growing cohort of professionals around Australia whose role is to support health services in quality improvement.

Our aim is to create a community of excellence to support practice coaches to extend their skills and share resources in these core competencies.

We believe that your skills and services would be of great interest to practice coaches. We have organised a virtual summit in which up to 24 presenters will have the opportunity to offer their own ideas to this new community of practice.

The virtual summit platform maximises the opportunity for access from across the entire country and is cost effective for participants and presenters.  It will help to gauge the interest of participants in ongoing engagement. We aim to create a space of excellence in health support services training to improve the quality of care delivered to the community and enhance business functions.

To turn this vision into a reality, we need you, your passion, wealth of knowledge and dedication to the industry. We seek industry experts to share and deliver their knowledge with energy and enthusiasm.

Riwka Hagen: - Practice management consultant, advisor, coach & mentor. Medical Business Services, Director of Rural Workforce Agency Victoria and Chair of Cobaw Community Health.

Tony Lembke:- GP, Director of the Australian Centre for the Medical Home, with 20 years of experience in supporting quality general practice.

Kim Poyner: - Coaching Health professionals to be at their growth edge in this changing landscape – RN, Wellcoaches Faculty, Executive Coaching ICF; International Consortium Health Wellness Coaching

We are looking for speakers who are truly exceptional and leaders in their field of expertise. We expect that you have experience in, and comfortable with public speaking. We are also looking for unique (but related) topics to bring to life.

As we expect strong interest from prospective speakers, we don't guarantee that you will be invited. As the program matures there may be opportunities for those who miss out at later Summits.

The Summit organisers retain the right to accept or reject any expressions of interest.

●      We will showcase 24 exemplary presenters over a three-day period.

●      You will each have an opportunity to speak for 45 minutes on a topic of your choice to inspire and drive change in the healthcare services and delivery.

●      15 minutes to have Q+A and showcase the work that you are currently providing, resources, books and workshops to our audience.

●      Each session is delivered via recorded webinar and made available to Summit attendees for the following month.

●      We will provide you with the virtual hosting platform and introduce you to your audience on the day.

We are hoping to host many more Summits and learning opportunities for members in the years to come. The proposed model includes a flexible member subscription which is both affordable and high quality for attendees, with a variety of topics and presenters. The Summit features a modest fee-share arrangement with speakers and provides you with access to a national audience.

We invite you to let us know of other candidates that you recommend for us to include in this exciting new project.
