How does the Register help me every day?It helps you to capture and retain important business tasks and information in a quick and simple format. This not only helps you to stay on top of all your recurring tasks, due dates and critical information, it also will become your practice management 'bible' that becomes an important hand-over resource if you (take) leave. Imagine how helpful it would have been for you to have had such a resource when you first started your practice management role!
-
How does the Practice Management & Risk Register help me with accreditation? It helps by prompting you to document and store key evidence requirements which are then available in 1 location. It makes it super easy for surveyors to find your information. The way the Register captures this information makes it super simple for you as the user - you will not be required to write pages and pages of text - only the important facts matter and the structure of the Register does the rest for you! Some examples of where the Register meets accreditation requirements; - Adverse events, mistakes & near misses - Patient complaints (and compliments!) - Staff immunisation register - Business planning - Quality Improvement activities (PDSAs) - Equipment maintenance register - Ethical dilemmas - Clinical & non clinical risk management
-
Where is the Register data stored?Great news! All the data you capture in the Register is stored locally with access entirely controlled by you. We do not have access to any information you capture - ensuring your practice privacy and confidentiality is assured.
-
What are the costs of the various Register options? All Register options are once-only payments with no recurring costs. You can purchase the Practice Management Register and the Risk Register separately, but you'll gain the best value by purchasing both together - with a saving of $116!

How much customisation is required?Whilst every sheet in the Register contains examples, and the Risk Register contains over 80 common risks in healthcare, it is very important that you take the time to customise this to accurately describe YOUR practice, YOUR actions and YOUR activities. This will take a bit of time in the beginning, but it is well worth it to get this right from the outset. Once you have populated the Register to match your practice, you will find its ongoing use easy, quick and simple. We recommend that you keep the Register open on your desktop on a daily basis so that you have easy access and easy updating as your undertake your PM duties.

I work with general practices to refine, implement or improve their systems. Riwka’s Practice Management Register is a tool I highly recommend to streamline, consolidate and track all your management activities. It’s an absolute marvel! Simple, easy to understand it covers all the bases and is especially useful for new practices or inexperienced practice managers.

I'm finding it a great way to bring everything together and feel it is totally invaluable as a hand-over tool from one PM to the next

Maureen G, East Brunswick Medical Centre
I have been needing some sort of better system to record and keep track of tasks. Some of the tabs it has are Pm tasks lists, reporting, Qi/PDSA, staff Reg, staff Training, incidents/Adverse reactions, feedack/complaints, Ethical Dilemmas, registration just to name a few, all in one place! I purchased ( for a very affordable fee) the Practice management register and the Risk Register Excel spreadsheet and WOW!!! Where has this been in my life it has everything you need in it along with examples. It's a one shop stop with your reminder dates recorded and great to give to asessors for a accreditation. When I explained to my principal doctor what I purchased he was impressed and impressed with me coming up with the idea to buy it. I highly recommend every Practice manager has this, it also helps guide you if you are a first time PM as to what are some of the tasks you should be doing! can't believe I'm excited about excel also if you were to leave your position someone could easily take over. Enjoy
